About Us
We’d like to introduce ourselves: Wilma and Manfred Fleischmann.
Wilma was born in Amsterdam, and Manfred in Vienna. Today, we live near Frankfurt, Germany, and are proud
parents of two grown sons.
Our passion for Florida began in 1992, when we took our very first trip to the Sunshine State – a small round tour followed by a relaxing beach holiday in Fort Myers Beach.
By pure chance, we discovered the Pink Shell Hotel on the northern tip of Estero Island – a recommendation that stole our
hearts.
From the very first moment, we knew: this is where we belong.
The endless, powder-white sandy beach, the gently sloping shoreline, and the calm, crystal-clear waters were simply perfect for families with children.
Since that first visit, Fort Myers Beach has drawn us back year after year. Over time, it has become our second home on the Florida Gulf Coast – a truly special place that combines nature, relaxation, shopping, and comfort in a way that’s simply unique.

Our Dream Home at Fort Myers Beach
“There’s nothing better than spending a day at Fort Myers Beach.”
For a long time, we dreamed of owning our own little vacation home in Florida. During one of our stays in 2008, we finally began searching for the perfect property on the Gulf Coast.
We visited many areas throughout Southwest Florida, but it soon became clear: Cape Coral and the mainland — while more affordable — simply weren’t what we were looking for. We wanted to be right by the beach, where we could feel the ocean breeze every day.
Our priorities were clear: the beach and a boat! We had always dreamed of one day exploring the beautiful waterways of Fort Myers Beach by boat.
After a long search, we finally found our dream vacation home at Fort Myers Beach, and we couldn’t be happier.
There’s nothing more magical than riding our bikes along the beach at sunset or cruising by boat through the mangrove forests of the Back Bay, surrounded by dolphins, pelicans, and the stunning wildlife of Southwest Florida.
Fort Myers Beach has truly become our paradise — a perfect blend of relaxation, nature, and the laid-back Florida lifestyle we love to share with our guests.

Our home is located in Mid Island of Fort Myers Beach, on one of the most beautiful streets of the island – right on
the canal.
The beach is only a few minutes away, and the Publix supermarket is just two streets over – perfect for an easy, relaxing stay
with everything close by.
When we first stepped into this house, we instantly felt that “WOW” moment.
We knew right away: This is the one!
Even now, every time we return after being away for a while, we still get that same tingling feeling – the excitement never fades.
This is our private home, not a typical rental property.
We spend three to four times a year here for several weeks, personally taking care of everything.
The house, the beautifully maintained garden, and the cleanliness are all
very close to our hearts.
We do everything we can to make sure our guests enjoy a carefree, comfortable stay –
in a home that’s cared for with love and attention to detail.
